Expressions of Interest
World Bank supported Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project (TNHSP) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for:
1. Package No. HMIS 4: Consultant for External validation of data of Institutional Services Monitoring Reports (ISMR). The Consultant will be selected by “Quality and Cost based selection (QCBS) method”.
2. Package No. PPP 1: Consultancy for mid term evaluation of Public Private Partnership (PPP) packages. The Consultant will be selected by “Consultant’s Qualification (CQS) method”.
3. Package No. CWE 1: Consultant for mid term review of quality of
Phase-I Civil works & utilization of Equipments provided by the Project. The Consultant will be selected by “Consultant’s Qualification (CQS) method”.
Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, financial status of the firm, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
The consultants may give Expression of Interest for either one of the above packages or for all the packages, clearly indicating their option separately, in separate covers marked clearly.
For each of the packages, the consultants will be selected by the selection method mentioned above against each package in accordance with the procedures set out in the “World Bank guidelines: Selection and Employment of consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004 Edition)”
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours between 10.00 hours and 17.00 hours on all working days. Expressions of interest must reach this office in the address given below in a sealed envelope superscribed with the name of the concerned package on or before 5th June 2007.
The EOI’s sent in sealed envelopes only will be considered.

Category 1- BMWM - Agency for Bio Medical Waste Management – Collection from the storage point in the hospital, transportation and final disposal of Bio Medical Waste in all Government Hospitals, in each district, in the state to the serviced Common Treatment Facility.

Category 2- BMWM - Agency for Bio Medical Waste Management-end disposal of Bio- Medical Waste at CTF plant as per TNPCB norms, when the bio medical waste from the Government hospitals in a particular district, handed over at the doorstep of the CTF.
The Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation, now invites eligible agencies to indicate their interest in providing the services of implementing the bio-medical waste management in all the Government hospitals in 30 districts in Tamil Nadu. Interested agencies must provide information indicating that they are qualified (Authorized by TNPCB) to perform the services (Brochures, Description of similar assignments, experiences in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc).
An agency will be selected individually for a district only in accordance with the procedures set out in the “World Bank’s guidelines: Selection and employment of agencies by World Bank Borrowers October 2006 edition”.
